You can give the SBI Exam for the following posts:
  • Clerk Exam
  • PO Exam

SBI PO Exam Eligibility Criteria:

~If you want to give the SBI PO Exam then you need to have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The percentage of marks to secure by the general category candidates is 65% of marks.

~For the reserved category candidates there is percentage relaxation which means that if you can secure 60% of marks then you can sit for this exam.

~While giving this exam you need to attain minimum 21 years of age. The upper age limit for general category of candidates is 30 years.

~There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST candidates there is 5 years age relaxation, for OBC candidates it is 3 years and for physically handicapped candidates it is 10 years.

~For this post it is also important to have basic computer knowledge as it will help you to have an edge over others.

~Selection procedure includes one written examination and group discussion which is followed by interview session.

~The exam is conducted in two phases. The first phase is the written examination where both objective questions and descriptive questions are asked.

~Then in the phase two stage marks will be there for the group discussion round and personal interview session. Finally 10 marks will also be there for the experience that you hold.

SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:

~If you want to give the SBI Clerk Exam then you need to be a minimum 12th pass out with not less than 60 percent of marks. Since a diploma degree is equivalent to class 12 therefore if you acquire the same percentage of marks in your diploma then also you can sit for this exam. But the diploma should not be done in correspondence.

~If you are a bachelor's degree holder then in that case 40% of marks needs to be secured at graduation level. For SC/ST candidates the percentage to secure is 35% of marks.

~The minimum age limit for this exam is 18 years. The upper age limit for this exam is 28 years for the general category candidates. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

~The selection procedure basically includes written examination and personal interview session. For this post it is also expected that you will have the ability to read, write and speak in english.

~For the written examination you need to give stress on the following sections: General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge.

~Remember that there is negative marking for each wrong answer so you should very confidently answer every question only when you are 100% sure about it.
