Re: Can a medical student apply for NDA? Those students who wants to apply for NDA , then you have to complete 12th with Physics and Mathematics from a recogniszed university.After that you can apply for NDA. |

Re: Can a medical student apply for NDA? Yes you are eligible for the Post of Indian Army through NDA Entrance exam as per the study you are mention in your query. Eligibility:- 1)Candidate must passed 12th standard from a recognized board with minimum of 50-60% Mark's. 2) Candidate must be the citizen of India. 3) Candidate must be in the age of 16.5 - 19 years. 4) Candidate must have good physical as well as mental health. Note:-NDA is the entrance exam for joining Indian Army which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Selection Process:- ---Online Test ----Physical Test ---Medical Test |

Re: Can a medical student apply for NDA? I'm student of zoology in bsc part 2, I've only biology as a main sub and maths is nether my second sub nor other in 12th BSEB examination. Now I want to be a part of defence for{in} India. So can I join NDA for a good carrier also ? |

Re: Can a medical student apply for NDA? YES medical student can apply for NDA only when they have/had taken biology along with maths as a extra subject in 12th std. If you have passed 12th with biology only then you can't apply for it,then it would be better you go for medical career. It is because in NDA examination you have to give the exam of maths paper containing 120 question and one paper of general science which contains physics,chemistry,biology,current affairs,social science. So you can only apply if you have studied maths in 12th class. |

Yes , ofcourse the Medical student is also applicable for the NDA exam .....You can apply for the NDA after completing your intermediate with Biology or also after completing your higher medical qualification ......In defence sector here are so many jobs for the Medical candidates........ |

Re: Can a medical student apply for NDA? Yes, a Medical student can apply for NDA as he has completed 12th standard provided he fulfills other eligibility criteria. NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental physique. As you are a Medical Student, you would have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th level, so you can apply for all the three wings of NDA when the candidate havng without the above subjects can only be eligible to apply for Indian Army of NDA.
