TNPSC VAO Exam Eligibility Criteria:

~To sit for the TNPSC VAO exam you need to have a SSLC certificate as that is the minimum qualification required for this examination.

~The minimum age limit for this exam is 21 years. The upper age limit for general category is 30 and there is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

~You should be good in Tamil language as that is the local language and medical certificates needs to be produced by you at the time of examination.

~Written examination is the determining factor when selecting candidates and the exam basically comprises of only one paper and questions comes from the following sections: General Knowledge and General English/General Tamil.

~For each section 150 marks has been alloted and total 300 marks is there for the exam out of which 90 needs to be secured which is the qualifying marks. General knowledge paper is bilingual.

~Exam is on 30th of September, 2012 from 10am to 1pm. Results will be out by November and you can expect the counselling to start from December.
