M.Phil course is the Master of Philosophy.

Eligibility for this course is::

Minimum Qualification for Admission

For Ph.D. in Engineering
  • you should have master's degree.
  • Your aggregate should be 60% minimum

For Ph.D. / M.Phil. in Sciences & Humanities
  • you should have Master's degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (For Languages a minimum of 55% marks)

Internal Full-time Candidates


If you wishes to work for Ph.D degree on full time (including project staff working in sponsored projects being carried out at the Institute) then you should apply in the prescribed form on or before the specified date.

Internal Part-time Candidates


If you have minimum one year experience at the Institute can work on a part-time basis for Ph.D degree. you should apply in the prescribed form on or before the specified date.

M.Phil stands for ( Master of Philosophy )

The Duration of the Course is duration of the Course is for two years .

To apply for this M.Phil Course you should Complete Post graduation Course ( M.com ) from recognized University / institution .

You need to score Minimum 55% Percentage of mars in your Master degree and relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates for 5% Percentage of marks .

The Admission for M.Phil Course based on the Merit List .

So, If your score 55% Percentage of marks in Master degree then definitely you may get admission for M.Phil Course in reputed Institution .
