Re: Can BCA Student give IPS,SSC Exams? yes you are eligible for IPS examination after graduation. You need to first clear the CSAT exam conducted by UPSC. Then the eligibility for giving the IPS exam is as follows:- Between 21-30 years for general category and 21-35 years for SC/ST/OBC. A graduate from any recognized university. 4 attempts for general category and 7 attempts for OBC/SC/ST. Thanks. |

You can start your training from now itself and can prepare for the exams well Since there a lot to study you have to prepare from your pre-graduation itself. You have to read two news papers daily and try to get enough knowledge of current affairs You can also give stress on improving the verbal skills also Organize your studies and keep in track of your academics also go parallel with that |

To appear in IPS or SSC exams one has to fulfill some eligibility criteria first.. Eligibility for IPS or SSC exams:----------------------->> >>Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university.. >>Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam. >> For IPS exam:---- Age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.. For SSC conducted combined graduate level exam:----- Sub-inspector:---- Age should be in between 20-25 years. Yes,BCA candidate are eligible for IPS exam. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam. Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam. But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate. In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years. The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be citizen of India. PROCESS BECOME A IPS OFFICER:- 1. Fill up the Application form. 2.Preliminary exam is consist of two papers. a) General studies -----150 marks b)From Optional subject -------300 marks 3.If you have qualify in Preliminary exam then you have to go for IPS mains exam. 4.After completion of your main exam you have to go for Interview. In order to appear for IPS, one need to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Here is the eligibility criteria to appear for that -A candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university. -A candidate should be in the age group of 21-30 years. So I would suggest you to complete your BCA and then you can appear for IAS examination. In the meantime be yourself perfect with the general awareness. |

Educational Qualifications for IPS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification. |
