This course is very important for candidates who are looking for teaching jobs in government and private schools. If you are looking for job of teacher in primary and high school then B.Ed degree is very important in India. Today not a single school would give teaching job to a candidate who don't have B.Ed degree. This rule is very important especially in schools that are affiliated with CBSE. Apart from that if you are applying for teaching job by appearing in CTET or state Teachers Eligibility Test, then it is also necessary to have B.Ed degree. Below are the requirement to join B.Ed course. 1. You must have graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university. 2. You need at least 50 percent marks in graduation course. 3. Candidates belonging to OBC require 45 percent marks. 4. While SC/ST candidates are required to score 40 percent marks. 5. You education pattern should be 10+2+3. Re: Minimum Marks required in BA course to get admission for B.Ed? Hello, To take admission in B.Ed college you have to clear an entrance exam organised for the enrollment of B.Ed course. The eligibility criteria for B.Ed is that a student must be a graduate in any stream from any UGC recognised university with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. The duration of course is 1 year. You can join schools/college as a teaching faculty with your B.Ed marks. Best of luck |
