can i have cut off for PH candidate in recent year fror Civil Branch ..i didn't see cut off for ph in the attachment its.. for GEN OBC SC and ST candidate.

A physically handicapped candidate working in A.P. State government since 10 years. Will the service be taken into account for IES?

can you tell me what was cut of written exam (objective /descriptive) in ies electrical 2010, also tell me expected cut off in 2011

Hi,

Yes there is a PH(Physically Handicapped) category in the IES exams conducted by the UPSC.

There are various relaxations offered to the PH students such as:

*Upper age limit(ie 30 years) is relaxable upto 10 years for PH students(ie 40 years)
*The PH students are not required to pay any fee to appear in the exam.(Otherwise it is Rs.100/-)

*In the year 2010, there are 434 vacancies including 10 physically handicapped vacancies.

Also,I have attached the Average cut-off marks for the year 2008 and 2009 as per your request.

For Indian Engineering Services Following Students having this Branch are Eligible.
Category I—Civil Engineering.
Category II—Mecahnical Engineering.
Category III—Electrical Engineering.
Category IV—Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

friend this is depend on cut-off marks and you will get the relaxation in age and all things buy you will qualify the exam from general.because this is tough exam and you can do hard work for exam because this is a top exam in India.

hi sir, i am ritesh sahoo, i am in 3rd yr doing instrumentation and control engg. sir, can you tell me whether there is ph category in ies exam?? and tell me the cutoff mark of ies exam in 2009 and 2010.
