Re: How much is the percentage requirement for IPS? IPS - INDIAN POLICE SERVICE and to become an IPS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. There is no percentage of marks required for IPS but regarding academic qualification you have to simply either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University to apply for the Civil Service Exam provided you fulfill other eligibility criteria for IPS. You must be an Indian national within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good physical Fitness. The candidate aspiring for IPS should maintain a minimum physical requirement such as:- HEIGHT - General male-165cm and Female-150cm and SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm CHEST - Male - 85cm and Female-79cm expandable to 5 cm in both the cases. The selection is through three phases:- CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam -Civil Service Main Exam Personal Interview For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

No Percentage required for IPS Information about IPS : - ** IPS stands for Indian Police Service ** If you are interested in first you can crack the Civil Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Educational Qualifications : - ** You must have a bachelor of Degree in any stream from a recognized university Age Limit : - ** Your age should between 21 to 30 years and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates as under For SC/ST candidates 5 years relaxation For OBC Candidates 3 years relaxation Nationality :- ** You should be a citizen of India |

DEAR you have to appear in civil services exam in order to become an ips officer you have to clear this exam with good rank EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: you have to clear graduation from any field there is no marks criteria if you are in final year then also you can apply AGE LIMIT: you should be between 21 to 30 yrs age relaxation for obc: 3 yrs sc/st: 5 yrs no. of attempts : for general:4 for sc/st:no limit for obc:7 for more details you can visit: http://www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: How much is the percentage requirement for IPS? hello dear, there is no any percentage required for IPS but you have to pass the graduation level from any recognised university you age should be 21- 30 year for general for obc age shold be 21 - 33year for sc/st age should be 21 - 35 year you should an IANDIAN to appear in this exam for male your height should be 165cm for general and 160 for other categories for female height should be 157 cm the examination will be held in three stage-:CSAT Exam,Main Exam and last Interview so be prepare your self before going to the exam good luck |
