SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:

- If you have a diploma degree which is a regular one and whose duration is not less than two years then also you can give this exam. It should not be done in correspondence and you should get this degree from a recognized institution. The percentage to secure in this case is same as above.
- Even graduates can apply if they have done their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Since the minimum percentage to obtain have not been mentioned therefore if you have the pass marks then you can apply.
- You have to attain the age of 18 years to apply for this exam as that is the minimum age limit to apply. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 28 years.
- For the reserved category candidates there is age relaxation. For SC/ST candidates it is 5 years and for OBC candidates it is 3 years.
- Selection procedure is mainly based on written exam and personal interview session. If you get the qualifying marks in the written exam then you will be called for the personal interview session depending on the vacancies available.
- For the written examination you need to stress on the following areas: General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.
- You should answer all the questions very cautiously because there is negative marking for each wrong answer you give. 0.25 marks will be deducted from your original score for each wrong answer you give.

- The exam is conducted in two phases. While the first phase is the written exam where you need to answer an objective paper and a descriptive paper. The second phase is about group discussion, interview session. Some marks are given for the experience you have in this field as well. That is a bonus.
- For the objective section questions will come from the following areas: English Language, General Awareness, Data analysis and interpretation, Reasoning and in the descriptive part there will be english language questions.
