For joining IAF you have to go for Entrance examination for Air force Conducted every year. This year date was 9-12 july 2012 is already close so, apply for it Next time. Some Other Information:

One can join the Indian Air Force in the flying, technical or the ground duty branches depending on his/her educational qualification. For Intermediate (10+2) There is a golden opportunity for young aspirants having +2 (Science) qualification with Physics and Maths to join as officer in Indian Air Force. Minimum Educational Qualification : -Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from recognized university. -Must have studied Physics and Mathematics in the 12th standard. 2. Age Limit : * Minimum Age :- 21 as on 1st August during which they will write Exam. * Maximum Age: 30 for GEN, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC. 3. Number of attempts : * General Candidates -> 4 * OBC -> 7 * SC/ST -> No Limit all the best. |

Once you fulfill the aforementioned eligibility criteria, you will have to take Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) conducted by Air Force Selection Board twice a year.
