~Combined Defense Services Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for those who wants to pursue their career in any one of the defense services in India. By giving this exam you can enter the following academies: Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Officer's Training Academy and Naval Academy.

~The eligibility criteria required to enter the Indian Military academy is that you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Your age should be between 19 and 24 years.

~To enter the air force academy you need to do your graduation in engineering or technology or you can also get a B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics. Your age should vary between 19 and 23 years.

~The naval academy demands of you a degree in science with physics or maths or you can also do B.E./B.Tech in engineering or technology too. Your age should be between 19 and 22 years.

~For the officer's training academy you just need a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution and your age should vary between 19 and 25 years.

~The selection procedure for this exam basically includes a written exam which is followed by personal interview session and also physical fitness test by the selection board committee.

~The written examination though is of primary importance but apart from that you need to do well in the personality test as well where you have to take part in group discussions, group planning and other outdoor tasks.

~You may be asked to give a speech on a topic selected by them. Your spontaneity and your depth of study all will be tested then. Apart from that the physical standards that each academy has set needs to be satisfied as well.

Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDS exam OR B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog.Final Year student are also eligible for CDSE exam.There is no percentage marks criteria.Your age should be in between 21 to 25 years old.
