Re: Universities offering LLB through distance education? Please read it carefully that there is no university in India that offers LLB through distance education. This specific course is not allowed to be offered through distance education therefore no college can offer that. The Bar Council of India has said it quite categorically that anyone who is interested in pursuing LLB has to do it through regular mode and any distance education degree is not acceptable. What this means is that even if you completed a law course through distance education, the Bar Council of India will not recognize it and therefore you will not be allowed to practice in the court. You should pursue LLB through regular mode. As you can see there is no other option if you want to become a lawyer. Eligibility 1. The course is opened for Indian citizens. 2. Minimum of bachelor degree is required. 3. Must have scored at least 45 percent marks. 4. SC/ST will need 40 percent marks. 5. The age limit is 30 years of the upper side. 6. The age limit is 35 years for SC and ST. |
