Re: Can I become a member of Navy after passing 12th Dear Aspirant Yeah there is a way as you can write a entrance exam to join in Indian Navy as it is the General Procedure for it. The qualification which you possess is the minimum qualification as with this qualification you can write the NDA Exam NDA - National Defence Academy This exam is being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and is conducted twice as NDA I and NDA II. To join in Indian Navy by NDA is that you need to satisfy the framed criteria's needed for the exam and they are: Nationality: -> You need to be a citizen of India Martial Status: -> You need to be a Unmarried male candidate to be eligible. Age Limit: -> The age limit needed for the exam is 16 1/2-19 years Education Qualification: -> Education qualification needed for the exam is that you need to have completed +2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. Physical Standard: -> You need to be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam If you are satisfying all these above criteria's means then you are eligible for writing the NDA exam For more info check at http://www.upsc.gov.in Best of luck |

Minimum Qualification and Age criteria to appear for NDA Exam: To join NDA for India Naval Force you have to fulfill following criteria... You should be 12th passed/Appearing in PCM subjects from recognized school. You should Pass 12th with fair percentage. Your Age should be with in 16.5 to 19 years. You should be unmarried. Must be a Indian Citizen. Only Unmarried Male candidate can join NDA.  Yes definitely, you can become a member of Navy. To join Navy, first of all, You will have to appear for NDA examination, which is conducted by UPSC every year. The eligibility criteria required for Indian Navy are prescribed as below:- * Completion of 12th in any discipline from any recognised board. * Age limit- 16.5-19 yrs. * Sex- Male. * Marital status- Unmarried or single. * Nationality- Indian. * Physical eligibility-  Hope the above mentioned will help you to get the information you were searching for. |

Age. 17 to 19½ years (i.e. born between 02 Jul 1993 & 01 Jan 1996 (both dates inclusive). 3. Educational Qualification. Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII). 4. Physical Standards. (a) Height andWeight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age. (b) Eye Sight. Yes, Off Course you can join Indian Navy after completing your 12th. For that you have to apply for NDA. NDA stands for National Defense Academy and this exam is conducted by UPSC twice in year to join Indian Army...... This examis conducted in month of June and December NDA-I Date has already close so, apply for NDA-II. >> Eligibility and Criteria << >> A cadidate should have completed their 12th with science stream. >> Age should be between 16.5-19 years. >> A candidate should have a nationality of India. >> Only unmarried Male can aoply for NDA. >> Exa is conducted in three wings....... 1.
