Re: How to appear for NET exam? What is the date of next NET exam? To my friend NET is national eligibility test.If you want to became agood teacher or lecturer then you should apply for NET exam. You have to attained the age of 19 years to apply for NET. ->> There is no upper age restriction to apply for the Lectureship Post. ->> Your age should not be more than 28 years to apply forJunior Research fellowship Post. Eligibility for NET: -- To apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course. -- You have to scored minimum 55% marks in your Postgraduation -- Final year Post graduate appearing candidates are also apply for NET The examination is conducted in June and December Every year. For this year June NET Examination was already completed and the December NETExamination Notification is going to be published soon in the month of October. -- The application form cost of NET examination is Rs 450. --You have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank. So, please wait for the Notification and then fill application form online |

Eligibility Criteria for General candidate- candidate should be postgraduate with 55% from recognized university. and should be Indian citizen. Eligibility Criteria for SC/ST candidate- candidate should be postgraduate with 50% from recognized university and for date of exam please find out on -www.ugcnetonline.in/ |

Re: How to appear for NET exam? What is the date of next NET exam? UGC NET stands for University Grant Commissions National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted twice in a year, first is in June and Second is in December. The date of next NET exam is notification published in the month of September last week or in October first or second week..For other information related to this can be checked in official website of NET. AGE LIMIT:-
Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years.For other there is a relaxation of 5 years. Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility. SCHEME OF EXAMINATION Session Paper Marks Number of Question First I 100 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted First II 100 50 questions all are compulsory Second III 150 75 questions all are compulsory The candidates are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as given below: CATEGORY Minimum Marks (%) to be obtained PAPER – I PAPER – II PAPER– III GENERAL 40 (40%) 40 (40%) 75 (50 %) OBC(Non-creamy layer) 35 (35%) 35 (35%) 67.5 (45 %) rounded off to 68 PH/VH/SC/ST 35 (35%) 35 (35%) 60 (40 %) |
