no it is not compulsory.we have to score aggregate 50% marks i.e 100 marks out of 200

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has nowhere mentioned about qualifying marks in each subjects (sections) in the Common Proficiency Test. As per the Institutes regulation, candidate need to score a minimum of 50% marks in the test.
Since the test carries a total of 200 marks, as per the standard set by the institute, one must secure 100 marks to be declared passed in the Common Proficiency Test.

yes, it is necessary to get specific marks in all subjects to clear cpt. these are 4 subjects and you need to get least 30% in each subject and 50% overall . them only you will be considered as qualified
