i have done mba in finance and i want 2 get a gud govermnet job in the relivent field,so do i need 2 go 4 ICWAI.or Mba in finace is enough 2 get into PSU...nd plz tel me dat in which courese do we study the core in finance (mba in finance/ICWAI)..plz let me knw as soon as possible..

hi,
if you are interested in BANKING SECTOR than you can do well in the field if you have done

your MBA in finance from Good Institution.

Doing ICWAI is also very good options but it is not that much needed in BANKING sector

as in this student learn cost effectiveness or minimizing the cost of production.

As there is no production in BANKING SECTOR you can do well in his field with Your

MBA in finance.

However if you are seeking the employment in corporate sector than this ICWAI could

help a lot.

EMPLOYMENT IN BANKING SECTOR

There are two sectors of banking where you can look for jobs.

1. PRIVATE & PUBLIC

2.GOVT


JOBS IN PRIVATE & PUBLIC

In privte and public sector ,banks prefer

QUALIFICATION

1. MBA/PGDBM
or

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY
or

MASTERS IN ECONOMICS

2.VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS

3.PRESENTABLE PERSONALITY

4.EXPERIENCE (pefered in some cases)

(some even conduct entrance exam otherwise interview is enough)

2.Information available

DAILY NEWSPAPER LIKE

THE TIMES OF INDIA OR HINDUSTAN TIMES OR OTHER NEWSPAPERS

whereas in

GOVT SECTOR

GOVT Banks have different procedure to recruit the candidates


Clearing entrance examination is must for getting govt BANK jobs.

1.Eligibility for apply in the bank

A.graduation from recognized university with atleast 50% to 60% marks.

B.age-between 21 to 30yrs.

2. FOR DETAIL INFORMATION READ

EMPLOYMENT NEWSPAPER

DAILY NEWSPAPER LIKE

THE TIMES OF INDIA OR HINDUSTAN TIMES OR OTHER NEWSPAPERS REGULARLY.


3.ENTRANCE EXAM QUESTIONS PATTERN

Quantitative aptitude - 50 QUESTIONS
English - 50 QUESTIONS
reasoning - 50 QUESTIONS
General awareness - 50 QUESTIONS
and
computer - 50 QUESTIONS

250 QUESTIONS (AROUND) OF OBJECTIVE TYPES.


4. DURATIONS OF EXAMINATION

1.30 to 2.5 hours
It all depend on the banks

If you clear the entrance examination you wiil called for interview.

After clearing the interview successfully.

you will get the job.

I have joined full time MBA but still I am confused which sector is most effective. I have 8 years of work experience. Please suggest me.

My interest is in HR.

What is the future on ICWAI and MBA finance?

I am completed MBA Finance in 2010... I wan to do ICWAI... Please can you tell me what type of future we have with both ICWAI & MBA Finance...??? And i am interested in Banking field... So, i want to know how it helps in banking industry... Please sir, reply me as early as possible because its important to my bright future... I hope you'l give good suggestion to me... I am waiting for your reply...
