ACIO Grade II stands for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, which is a Grade C level post in Intelligence Bureau, which is India's first intelligence agency active since we god independence. Intelligence Bureau deals in internal security and monitors borders of India for terrorist activity. In recent years Intelligence Bureau has become more active in counter terrorism operations and have been credited for busting several terror module in India. Coming back the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, to get this job, each candidate is required to appear for entrance exam. You would not get the job unless managed to crack the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II Exam. Below are the requirements to appear for the exam. Eligibility Criteria 1. Candidate should be Indian citizen. 2. A graduation degree in any stream from a recognized college. 3. Age limit for ACIO Grade II is 27 years. 4. However it is relaxed for reserve categry students as per the rules of central government. 5. To be exact, the age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. Exam Pattern There are two papers in the ACIO Grade II Exam. 1) Objective (Paper-I) The Objective type paper contains mulit choice question related to General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude, Reasoning & English Language. 2) Subjective (Paper-II) In the subjective paper the English writing skills of the candidates are test. Mainly the questions in subjective paper are essay type. You would get 1 Hour and 40 minutes for each paper.
