Yes, you are eligible for IAS exam after doing B.A. in distant education but your Graduation degree should be approved by UGC. To become an IAS officer, one has to appear and crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream fro a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. I.A.S exam exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year. Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university. Re: Can I be eligible for IAS exam after doing B.A in distance education? Hi, yes you are eligible for the IAS exam. IAS stands for Indian Adminstration Service. This exam conducted by the upsc exam. This exam conducted once in a year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: the candidate should be complete the graduation with any stream from any recognized university. The final year candidates are also eligible for this exam. There is no minimum percentage required. AGE LIMIT: the age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates. 5 years age relaxation for sc/st candidates. NATIONALITY: the candidate should be citizen of india. GENDER: Both male and female candidates are eligible for this exam. NO. Educational qualification: Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university of india. The candidate who is persuing final year graduation is also eligible. The most important thing is percentage is not required for IAS exam. Nationality: Citizen of india. Age criteria: The candidates age should be in between 21 years to 30 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. No.of attempts: For general 4 times, For OBC candidates 7 times, For SC/ST candidates No limit.
