 CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria: => CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. If you are interested in pursuing a career in law and looking to do undergraduate programs or post graduate programs from any one of the fourteen national law universities in India then you can give this exam. Every year lots of students gives this exam for the limited seats available and needlessly to say this is a tough exam to crack no doubt. => To give this exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate or its equivalent with not less than 50% of marks at 10+2 level. => There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 45% in case of SC/ST candidates and the persons with disabilities. => The upper age limit for giving this exam for general category candidates is 20 years. It is 22 years for the reserved category candidates. => The written examination is mostly objective type and it is conducted not to test prior knowledge about law or legal terms. Even if any legal term is used its meaning will be mentioned in the paper itself. This paper will just test the efficiency of the student and whether they are capable to pursue this course or not. => Exam Pattern:  =>If you are interested to give this exam then you can buy the CLAT brochures from the branches of State Bank Of India by giving Rs. 3000. The application kit costs Rs. 2500 for reserved category candidates. => By sending a demand draft in favour of the national university in charge of conducting the exam on that particular year when you are about to give the exam also you can get the application kit containing brochures and application form.
