Hi,

IAS stands for Indian Adminstrative Service. This exam conducted by the union public service commission every year.

Eligibility:

The candidate should be citizen of india.

The candidate must have completed the graduation from any recognized university.

There is no minimum percentage required.

The final year candidates are eligible.

The age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

The age relaxation for the sc/st and obc candidates.

Both male and female candidates are eligible.

4 attempts of limit for the general category and 7 attempts for the obc candidates.

There is no limit of attempts for the sc/st categories.

Civil Service Aptitude Test

CSAT main exam

Interview

Subjects for the IAS exam:

Agriculture

Economics

Civil Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Mathematics

Physics

Chemistry

Sociology

Statistics

Law

Management

Geology

Geography

History

Medical Science

Philosophy

Psychology

Political Science and International Relations

Zoology

Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science

Anthropology

i am a student of MCA final year and i want to become an IAS officer, from which subject i have to choose.
