The age limit for Public Sector Undetaking as well other government jobs not only varies on the basis of caste but also depends of the different Public Sector Undertaking companies. Here are the details for each Public Sector Undetaking company's age requirement. Please remember the caste may or may not be the basis to get any upper age relaxation in PSU's. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited also known as BSNL, the telecom sector PSU has the age limit of 21 to 30 years for the job. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited aka BHEL has limit of 21 to 26 years If you are aspiring for jobs in Indian Railways the age limit for RRB is minimum of 18 years and maximum of 30 years. Jobs in Government Banks like SBI, IOB, PNB etc require candidate to be between 20 to 30 years for the General Category candidates. Union Public Sector Jobs also known as UPSC have agre criteria of 21 to 30 years however this may be relaxed for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Bharat Electronics Limited popularly known as BEL has age limit of 21 to 28 years IOCL or the Indian Oil Corporation Limited has age limit of 21 to 26 years In Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) maximum age limit for JRF is 28 years and 35 for Research Associate. Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has age limit of 18 to 28 years. Please Note that these age limits are for General category candidates and may vary for SC/ST and OBC candidates. The limit may also vary for different posts offered by the PSU's. There is no minimum limit of GATE score to get job in PSU. It depents on numbers of vacancies, highest score secured in GATE and total number of aspirants of PSU. However to make things easy for you 75 percent marks in GATE exam is considered very good for PSU job. |
