If you have completed 10th OR 12th standard OR graduation degree then you are applicable for VAO exam but you age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide as per govt rule But you must know the Tamil language.Age should not be more than 40 years a rule mandatory for both the general candidates and SC/ST and OBC candidates.
Here i have attached the papers you are looking for. Please download them and go through them once to know more about the question pattern. Practice more such papers to get good marks. All the best for the exam.

VAO Exam Details:-
- VAO stands for Village Administrative Officers. Tamilnadu Public Service Commission conducts an examination to recruit these officers. Deserving candidates are selected through a recruitment examination. To give this exam following eligibility criteria needs to be satisfied:-
- You need to have secondary school leaving certificate to give this exam. Although this is the minimum qualification required but even if you have higher qualifications then also you need to show this certificate to be considered eligible.
- When applying for this exam your age should not be less than 21 years. The upper age limit is 30 years for general category candidates. For reserved category candidates it is 40 years.
- You should know how to speak in Tamil since that is the local language of the villagers of Tamilnadu. You will be posted over there.
- If you do not know Tamil then on getting selected you will have to give Tamil language exam which is also conducted by the TNPSC and pass in it.
- To prove your medical fitness you will be asked to show medical certificates to the authorities concerned during exam time.
- Selection procedure is primarily based on the written exam. Other factors which are considered are the district chosen by you and the number of reservations of the district in question.
- There will be 200 questions to answer and all of them will be of S.S.L.C. standard. For the exam you will get questions from general knowledge and general tamil/general english. 150 marks each have been allotted for each paper and you will get three hours to complete the whole paper.
- Cost of the application forms is Rs. 150 and for reserved category candidates it is Rs. 50. This year's exam is due in September and the results will come out in November and by December the interview sessions will start.

- It should be noted that out of the total seats vacant they keep 30% of them reserved for women, 5% for ex-servicemen and 3% for physically handicapped candidates. If they fails to get the number of women required then the rest of the seats are filled up by men of that number.
- This year's notification for 1870 vacancies were published in June and the exam is due in September. The result will be out in November and by December it is expected that the interview session or the counselling session will start.

This exam will be for 200questions, time will be available for 03 and maximum marks is 300.
