Re: Can I change my branch after 2nd semester in engineering? hi.. YES it is possible to get your stream changed once you clear your 1st semester or even 2nd semester. However only after the 1st year, the different streamed students are distributed in different respective streams and their studies. So due to the fact the studies are common till the 1st year, many colleges allow the change of streams to the students, provided they fulfill the criteria's. Some colleges allow only the topper of the 1st semester to change, while others allow the over all topper of the first year.For more details, kindly check it with your College authorities and they would guide you the best |

There are some conditions to change a branch like First of all you have to be all clear in your 1st semester.your percentage is most important in the merit list of branch changing students. After it a seat is to be available in your desired branch of your college. So,if many students will apply for changing branch then there should be a percentage criteria will be exits. It depends upon the vacancies in the branch you wish to go and the percentage you have after the first year . You have to fill a form and attend a small counselling session to secure a seat . Yes, you can change the branch after the 1st year that is in 2 nd semester because the subjects which are in the 1st year are common to all the students so you can change your branch because the subjects of 1st year are common.. but it will depend some time on the institution because the college will accept for change of branch only if you get good % in 1st year and it will also depend on the number of seats available in your desired branch... any ways, ALL THE BEST.. |

Re: Can I change my branch after 2nd semester in engineering? if u want to change your branch to b.e 1st year in another college then u will have to appear in the AIEEE exam (or the appropriate exam through which your desired college enrolls its students) again and score accordingly so that u can qualify for your desired college.. its completely possible everywhere and it is irrespective of your CGPA which u have scored in your previous year.. many students have changed their college to b.e 1st year of another college after completing their 1st year in our college..so its totally possible.. hope this helps..  all the best.. |

As far as I know this college is located on the Delhi Meerut Road and is one of the best colleges which come under UPTU. However it is not a government college and so not all the UPTU top ranker's want to get into this college. Now YES it is possible to get your stream changed once you clear your 1st semester or even 2nd semester. This is sometimes made possible in many colleges and universities because as you may also know that the 1st year syllabus for all the branches are same. However only after the 1st year, the different streamed students are distributed in different respective streams and their studies. So due to the fact the studies are common till the 1st year, many colleges allow the change of streams to the students, provided they fulfill the criteria's. Some colleges allow only the topper of the 1st semester to change, while others allow the over all topper of the first year.
