To apply for this exam you need to possess 10+2 or 12th class certificate from the recognized board in India. Along with that you also need 60% of marks at 10+2 level. There is some relaxation available for the reserved category candidates. It is also important to have English as one of your compulsory subject at 10+2 level. You have to know how to speak and write in the local language of the State where you have applied. The lower age limit is 18 years and it is binding on all categories. For the general category candidates the upper age limit is 27 years and there is upper age limit relaxation for the following candidates:-
In the exam 100 questions will come and for the exam 100 marks have been allotted. For each question 1 mark have been allotted and the whole paper needs to be completed in 2 Hours. The whole paper has been divided into four parts and what kind of questions will be asked from each part has been discussed below:- General Knowledge (Part A):- From this section questions will come from the following related topics:- Geography, Current Affairs, History, Latest Happenings, Events, Politics, environment, Sports, science up to GK level questions, Indian constitution. Mathematics (Part B):- From this section questions will come from the following related topics:- Questions related to +2 standards like Average, Implication, Compound Interest, Decimals, Number system, Profit, Correlation etc. English (Part C):- From this section questions will come from the following related topics:- Grammar, Synonyms/Antonyms, Prepositions, Active Passive Voice, tenses and vocabulary etc. Logical Reasoning (Part D):- Logical theories based questions will come in this section to test your logical reasoning and diagnostic thinking.
