hi

There is no percentage criteria to join the Indian Military Academy. To join the Academy, all you need is to qualify Combined Defense Service Exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
To be eligible for the exam, you just need to be a graduate , in any discipline.
Apart from this, you must be within the age limit.
The minimum eligible age is 19 years.
The maximum age limit is 24 years.

So, it's not true that you need 60% in your B.Com to join the IMA for Indian Army.

BEST OF LUCK

you can apply for the post of NCC WOMEN or NCC MEN (Depending upon your Gender)

you can apply for the post of Group-'X' and 'Y' IN ARMY
The age should be between 20-25 years , for this post

-->> The minimum Height for men to join ARMY is 157.5cms
-->> The minimum Height for women for ARMY is 152cms

** you can also apply for CDS EXAM also to join ARMY

But ,To apply for this exam , you should have completed Graduation
so, after completion of your Degree , you can apply for the exam

CDS - Combined Defence Service Exam

~~~~ For ARMY , your age should be between 19-24 years
The Selection process is ,
There is no percentage of marks criteria in Graduation in Commerce in order to join Indian Army.
Indian Army can be joined after Graduation through appearing entrance exam of CDS(Combined Defence Service) conducted twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II by UPSC.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 year with good Physical and Mental Fitness.
The selection is through written exam, personal interview, Physical Fitness and finally through Medical Test.
It is absolutely not necessary to have 60 percent marks in B.Com for the candidates seeking admission in Indian Military Academy. You certainly are eligible to appear for entrance exams but not the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam.
What you need to apply for is Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS). This is the exam for candidates who have completed graduation and now seeks to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.
The Combined Defence Services Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on the yearly basis. It is conducted in the months of February and June. Please check the eligibility criteria below.
