Re: Can I appear for UGC NET exam after doing M.A in economics? I have done M.A economics from Distance Education (recognised university) scoring 55%. Can I apply for UGC NET exam? please reply. |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year in the month of June and December. Those candidate have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.5% Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST candidate. NET exam date for June session is already over so you can wait for Next notification for the exam of December 2012.The announcement will be published on UGC website. UGC announced from this year cut-off marks may be increased .So please read the notification very carefully .
