Re: How to prepare for the placement of B.Tech computer science? i am interested in giving civil services/cds examination after completion of my b.tech from computer science with 8.4 cgpa(till 6th sem)..please tell me the scope and future of it and when should i start preparing for it..after taking a job or in 8th semester itself??! which one is better among these two cds or civil services!!!?? please guide me through!! :) |

Re: How to prepare for the placement of B.Tech computer science? The IT field is a constantly growing one, where the technology of yesterday is a relic today. There is a wide gap between the requirement and supply of the skilled manpower. So there is a very high demand for such capable people. They are looking forward for such people and expect their employees to be dynamic enough to have the aptitude for continuous learning and a willingness to work more. Software development is teamwork, so the companies expect reasonably good communication skills. It’s enough that you have the capability to express your thoughts freely. Proper planning for placements will help a lot in improving your chances for getting placed. Identify your strong points and weaknesses and plan accordingly. Preparation should start well ahead of the placement dates, and 6 months time will be more than enough. There are many facets that are to be considered for preparing for placements. The preparation should constitute: improving technical capabilities, increasing the general aptitude, developing good communication skills and mental preparation. |

It includes ->aptitude ->verbal and non verbal reasoning ->logical reasoning best book for this is R.S AGGARWAL if you clear first round you will be promoted to next round 2)technical round: In this your technical skills are tested. Im sendind you some sample technical questions. last round is 3)HR: In this you are personally tested by HR.
