It is a post graduation course that is generally taken after completing BCA but there is no such rule. Those who have completed graduation in any stream can apply for it. If you are interested in computers then it makes sense to apply for MCA course. The course is related to following areas: System Management Application Software Hardware Technology Programming Languages Networking Eligibility 1. A graduation degree from a recognized university. 2. At least 50/60 percent marks in graduation. 3. You should have Maths as one of the subjects in 10+2. If you meet this criteria then apply for one of the entrance exam for the MCA admission. There are various state level entrance exams as well national level exams. Some examples are: AIMCET MAH MCA CET BIT OJEE VIT ICET After completing the Master of Computer Application course you can apply for job in various IT companies in India depending on your academic performance. For job in all major IT companies you will need to maintain 65 percent marks throughout the academic career like 10th, 12th, graduation and post graduation. And it is divided into the 6 semesters. Eligibility of the MCA: the candidate should have complete the 3 years of degree from any recognized university. There is the marks percentage required is 50% of marks. The age limit should be 17 years to 25 years at begining of the course. The candidate must have mathematics as a subject in the 12th class. Such candidates should have studied mathematics as a subject at 12th class and graduation. Course curriculum of MCA course is related to courses like M.Sc CS, B.Tech CSE, etc. Programming concepts, Data Structures, Computer Architecture, etc are the main topics covered under the course. Computer networks, Compiler design, SDLC, etc also forms part of the syllabus. |
