Yes MBC Community people are also eligible to give this exam. To get a detailed information about this exam please go through the information written below about VAO examination.

TNPSC VAO Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

To give this exam you need to have a secondary school leaving certificate. Higher qualifications will be considered only if you have this certificate to show.
Lower age limit for giving this exam is 21 years. Upper age limit for general category candidate is 30 years.
For SC, BC, MBCs, DCs, BCMs and DWs the upper age limit is 40 years.
You should be well versed in Tamil language since you will be posted in the villages of Tamilnadu.
You will have to sit for Tamil language exam which is also conducted by TNPSC if you do not know Tamil properly. This exam needs to be given after getting selected.
To prove that you are physically fit for the exam you need to produce medical certificates in the form of TNMS, TNJMS or TNSS.

TNPSC VAO Exam Selection Procedure:-

Written Examination is of primary importance here. Scores obtained in the exam will be considered while choosing the deserving candidates. Your aim target therefore should be to score as many marks as possible in the written exam to guarantee a seat.

The district chosen by you and the number of reservations of the district in question will also be considered.

TNPSC VAO Exam Pattern:-

The exam will consist of one single paper which will contain questions from two subjects, namely, General Knowledge and General English/General Tamil. Questions for the examination will be of S.S.L.C. standard.
The total marks allotted for the exam is 300 and 150 marks each have been allotted for each paper. All in all 200 question needs to be answered in just three hours's time. You need to get minimum 90/300 to qualify.

Cost Of Application Forms:- For general category candidates the cost of the application form is Rs. 125 and for reserved category candidates it is Rs. 50. If you have already registered your name with TNPSC before then you do not need to pay the application fee anymore.

Eligibility for TNPSC Village Administrative Officer (VAO)

General candidate age 30 years and reserved caste age 40 year.

Education Qualification for VAO –
Candidates must have secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) or any equivalent.
Candidates should be fit physically for physical test during recruitment session.

Must important-Candidates should have perfect knowledge of Tamil language

VAO stands for Village Administrative Officers and this Examination is Conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission

Eligibility Criteria for VAO Examination :-
