register for ICWAI course
The Institution of Cost & Works Accountants of India(ICWAI) ,which is set up under the Act of Parliament .
Its main aim for the economic activities of an organization by their sheer expertise.It provides the depth knowledge and perspective to manage business.
Eligibility for Admission:
(i) You should have any graduate in any discipline or equivalence from a recognized University/Institute.
or
if the candidates who have already passed the ICWAI Final Course ,they shall also be eligible for admission.
Duration: Minimum 2 Years
Maximum 5 years
ICWAI Final passed candidate can complete the course in one year.
Medium : English
Fee: Rs. 6,000/- consolidated for full course
Prospectus cost : Rs. 400

Dear friend,

ICWA stands for Institute of Cost and Works Accountants Of India. This course trained you in accounting, cost and management audit and tax function. This course is distance learning course, it is not done on regular basis.

There are three stages in ICWA course:-

1)Foundation course
2)Intermediate Course
3)Final course.

Eligibility for Foundation course:-

1)- You should have passed 12th class from a recognized board.

2)- Your age should not be less than 17 years.

Eligibility for Intermediate course:-


1)- You should have passed degree Examination of any recognised University or equivalent. Those who have completed Foundation course are also eligible to apply for intermediate course.

2)- Your age should not be less than 18 years.

Fee structure of Foundation course:-


Postal Tuition fee:Rs.3500/-
Oral coaching fee:Rs.3500/-
Examination fee:Rs.1000/-

Fee structure of Intermediate course:-


Postal Tution fee:Rs.7500/-
Oral coaching fee:Rs.6600/-
Examination fee:Rs.1600/-

Fee structure of Final course:-

Postal Tution fee:Rs.9000/-
Oral coaching fee:Rs.3500/-
Examination fee:Rs.1250/-

When to Apply:-


Exams are held two times in a year i.e. on 11th to 18th June and on 10th to 17th December.
For June Term Examination apply before 05th December of previous year and for December Term Examination apply before 05th June.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has its regional offices and branches all over India and the registration form for the cost and work accountancy course can be obtained from any one of them.
As far as eligibility is concerned, you must have passed +2 level of examination to get admission into the Foundation Stage of the course or must be a graduate in any discipline to get complete exemption from the Foundation Course and get direct admission to the Intermediate Course which is followed by the Final Course.
The registration form can be obtained and submitted anytime during a year.

Since the course is offered through correspondence mode as well as coaching at the study centers, the fee structure varies and is as follows:

  • Intermediate Course- Rs. 15700
  • Final Course- Rs.11500
Fee Structure of Cost and Work Accountancy Course: (Oral Coaching)
  • Foundation Course- Rs. 3500
  • Intermediate Course- Rs. 19700
  • Final Course- Rs.16500
