In order to become a IPS (INDIAN POLICE SERVICE) officer, must have to crack the CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION ,. This civil service examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION , Thus , you can also visit the official site of UPSC -www.upsc.gov.in This civil service examination has three stages to be clear for a IPS aspirant,. 1. CSAT (CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST) 2. MAINS 3. INTERVIEW (PERSONAL EVALUATION) In order to crack this examination, you must have to prepared very well , full of dedication ,self confidence & hard work. You must have control on current affairs. The educational requirements for this examination for this examination is a graduation degree in any stream, but from a recognized college. Age limit for this examination is 21-30 years for the GENERAL candidates, 21-33 years for the OBC (NON-CREAMY LAYER) candidates, 21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates,. If you are interested in the IPS field then to appear in the IPS entrance examination you need the following eligibility criteria. Eligibility Criteria for the Civil Services examination. --> Pass graduation is any stream from a recognize University. Final year graduation candidates can also appear in the IPS examination. --> The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination. The upper age relaxation is also applicable for the reservation category candiadtes. These are the basic eligibility criteria for the IPS examination. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for the IPS entrance examination. Do preparation well for the upcoming IPS entrance examination. HELLO DEAR -->> To serve in the Indian Police Service one has to pass the Civil Service Examination, which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, every year. >> This examination is a common examination conducted for selection to the other two All India Services as well as various other Group A and Group B services under the Central Government. >> This examination consists of three stages. At stage one, there is an objective type examination called the Preliminary examination. This is a qualifying examination and only the candidates who clears this can appear for the next stage called the Main examination. >> In the Main examination each candidate has to select two optional subjects, apart from which all candidates have to take a General Studies, Essay and compulsory language exam. >> The Main examination is a very intensive subjective type examination for which marks are awarded. A shortlist is prepared on the basis of the Main examination and these candidates can compete in the third and final stage of exam called the Viva voce or the Interview. >> The marks of the Main examination and the Interview are combined to prepare a final merit list of selected candidates. Eligibility and Criteria: A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any Discipline with atlest 55% from recognise universities. Final year students are also applicable. Age limit: General category student:- 21-30 years. OBC relaxation in upper age +3 years. SC/ST relaxation in upper age +5 years. No. Attempt: General - max. 4 OBC - max. 7. SC/ST - No limit.
