FOR became a air force officer you have to apply for AFCAt exam Candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board.Percentage is not required to apply this exam.For Naval and Airforce wings the candidate should be complete 12th standard with PCM subjects.The candidate should be physically fit.Age limits are 16.5years to 19years, no upper age relaxation. Iam sorry to say this a diploma studying candidate could not be eligible for indian airforce. There are two ways to join in Airforce, one is after completion of 12th standard with NDA(National Defence Academy) and after graduation the candidates should be appear CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam. These two exams are conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. Eligibility criteria for NDA:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board. Percentage is not required to apply this exam. For Naval and Airforce wings the candidate should be complete 12th standard with PCM subjects. The candidate should be physically fit. The age limits are 16.5years to 19years, no upper age relaxation. Nationality:- The candidate should be a citizen of india OR A subject of bhutan, OR A subject of nepal, OR A tibetian refugee who came over india permanently. Selection process:- Written test, SSB interview, Medical test. CDS eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university. Final year graduation persuing candidates are also eligible. The candidate should be a citizen of india. The candidate must be physically fit. The age limits are 19years to 23years, no upper age relaxation. Selection process:- Written test, Personal interview, Medical test. Re: How to become an Airforce officer after studying in diploma in IT stream? You should attend the NDA exam for joining Air force. You should be between 16.5-19 years. You should be an unmarried male candidate. If you get through the written test, you need to attend the physical test and personal interview. If you get qualified in all the 3 stages of the section process, you will have do undergo training at the National Defense academy and also at the Air force academy. After the successful completion of the training, you will be posted as an officer. |
