SCRA ie :- Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission This Examination is held every Once in a year . Eligibility Criteria for SCRA Entrance Examination :- Nationality :- The Applicant should be citizen of Indian/ Subject Bhutan/Subject of Nepal . Educational Qualification :- The Applicant should be completed 12th standard or Equivalent Qualification with Physics and Mathematics from recognized University . Age Criteria :- Your age should be 17 years to -21 years and relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates Note :- The Applicant who Complete Graduation may also eligible for this Examination . SCRA Examination Pattern :-

Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply, or (b.) must have passed in the first or second division, the Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10 plus 2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th class for SCRA exam? SCRA eligibility is follow- Nationality A candidate must be either : 1. A citizen of India, or 2. A subject of Nepal, or 3. A subject of Bhutan, or 4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or 5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the SCRA examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India. (II) SCRA 2011 Age Limits : A candidate must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years on 1st August, 2011, i.e. he / she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1990 and not later than 1st August, 1994. The upper age limit is relaxation as follows : 1. Up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe. 2. Up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates |

To appear in the SCRA you need the following eligibility criteria. Those student who are appearing in the 12th board exam are also eligible for the SCRA exam. Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th class for SCRA exam? There is no minimum Criteria defined by UPSC for SCRA Exam. But for many UPSC and CBSE examination the minimum marks required is above 60%... So if you have then surely you are eligible for appearing in UPSC Exams.. The minimum age is required 17-21.. I think you are between in above given ages so you are eligible.. But You have to know that SCRA exam is one of the toughest exam held by UPSC so be prepare for it. |

So, If you have scored First And Second division In your 12th examination, then you are eligible to apply for SCRA examination. And to apply for this examination you must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years. So, if you have fulfill the eligiblity criteria and interested to apply for SCRA examination, then you can apply either Online Or Offline. If you are Interested to apply online, then the application form was availiable in the official website of UPSC, The notification was published in the month of March in the employment Newspaper Or in the official website of UPSC.
