Re: In which month will the Income Tax Officer test be held? Dear aspirant, -If you want to become a income tax officer then you have to give SSC CGLE exam. -CGLE is combined graduate level exam conducted by SSC for various posts in which income tax officer also comes. -For this exam you should be graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. -Age should be 18 to 27 years if you are general category. -Age relaxation is available for SC/ST for 5 years, OBC for 3 years and physically handicapped for 10 years. -You have to pass TIER I objective type paper to qualify for TIER II objective type paper. -Then you have to face interview. -If your score is good after the whole process then you will get your income tax officer post.
