Re: Minimum qualification required for ISRO exam? The minimum qualification required for joining ISRO is graduation prefrably in science or engineering discipline. I think you are talking about ISRO entrance exam for recruitment of scientist/engineers. The eligibility criteria for the same is as follows: Age limit - Candidate must not be more than 35 years of age. Age relaxation exists as per govt. rules. Candidate must have master’s degree from the in Library Science / Library and Information Science with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course. Only those candidates who possess first class degree are eligible for this course. Candidate must not be more than 35 years of age to be eligible for this course. Candidates belonging to the reservation caste or from the defence background are offered relaxation of two years in the upper age limit eligibility criterion. Age Limit 35 years For General 40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates as on 28-02-2011 Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders. good luck |

Candidates who are slated to complete the BE/B.Tech course in the academic year 2010-11 are also eligible to apply provided final Degree is available by 31.8.2011 Age Limit: 35 years as on 28-02-2011 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities[PWD] are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders). For PWD persons, orders on reservation to the extent applicable will be extended for the above posts. all the best................ |

For the post of Scientists/Engineers aC and SCaC the qualification required is: ME/M.Tech/MSc (Engg) or equivalent degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent And pre-eligibility qualification of BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engg) or equivalent should also be in First class with an aggregate of 65% (Average of all semesters). MSc Degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. Age limit. For general candidates. Max 35 years For SC/ST candidates. Max40 years For OBC candidates. Max38 years All the best. |

Re: Minimum qualification required for ISRO exam? Only Indian nationals can apply. The age of a candidate must not exceed 26 years. A candidate must be a graduate with minimum 60%/First class. A candidate must have a good knowledge of computer and a diploma of 1 year in Computer applications will be desirable. For the post of Jr Assistant a minimum speed of 40 wpm and 80 wpm in English typing on PC and English stenography respectively is required in addition to the above qualifications. |
