Re: Can I apply for PGT Maths after passing MCA? hello, Now PGT means Post Graduate Teachers curriculum. Now for that if you are giving this in Biotechnology, or genetics, then you will not have to do B.Ed. or bachelor's in education course for one year. After this you can go for the PGT curriculum. Remember that you will have to give the entrance examination to enroll in B.Ed. course for any institute that you get into. So go for a B.Ed. course right now. |

You cannot apply for a PGT Maths after MCA as you have to complete the course of B.Ed to be a teacher in schools and to teach in colleges either you have to become a lecturer by clearing the Lectureship NET exam conducted by UGC- University Grants Commission or you have to complete the Ph.D in the relevant subject to become a professor. |
