Every year IBPS is conducting common written Exam for the recruitment of PO positions for all the public sector banks. SBI and SBI Associate Banks will not come under this category which conduct their own selection procedure for the recruitment of these PO positions. Here is the eligibility criteria required for the candidates to apply for IBPS PO Exam. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with minimum 50% of marks with any of the stream from a recognized university. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 20-30 years to take this exam. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. The selection procedure for PO job will be by IBPS Written Exam Interview There is negative marking also in the written exam. If you have completed Graduation with 50% of marks, then you are eligible to take this exam. But make sure that you are having the required age as per your category. Last academic year, this exam was conducted in the month of July. Hope this will also be conducted in the same month. But, the notification for IBPS PO Exam has not been released yet. On behalf of the 20 public sector banks Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS as it is commonly known as conducts the Common Written Examination for various posts. On passing you will get a score card whose validity is one year and with that score card you can get to work in nationalized banks in India for jobs of Probationary Officer. For this examination apart from being a citizen of India, you need to be a graduate in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university or a deemed university recognized as such by the Central Government. That is the main criteria. You should possess a certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations/Language/ or you should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute. This is only to prove that you know the basics of how to handle a computer. This year you will get a chance to apply only in one State therefore it is important to be proficient in the local language of the State where you are applying. Your age should not be less than 20 years when applying for this exam. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 30 years. There is relaxation for the following categories:-

There is no percentage of marks required for application to IBPS P.O. Exam. IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts Exam for the post of Bank P.O. for 19 Public Sector banks. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with a good command over computer. Graduation from a recognised university. 2. Age should be between 20 - 30 years for PO, for general category, 20- 33 years for OBC and 20- 35 years for SC/ ST category. So, you fulfill first criteria and if you are aged as per the criteria, then you can definitely apply for IBPS exam. ELIGIBILITY: Candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized university. No minimum percentage of marks required. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible. Age limit: Candidate age limit is between 21 to 30 years. 3 years age relaxation for obc candidates. 5 years age relaxation for the sc/st candidates. Candidate should be citizen of india. You can definitely give the IBPS PO Examination as per your educational qualifications. IBPS Conducts the Common Written examination for the PO Posts of 19 public Sector Banks. These Banks which come Under IBPS are :  The Eligibility Criteria that you have to fulfill for the same are : a) You must have completed your graduation in any discipline from any recognized college/university. b) Your age should be in between 21-30 years. c) Relaxation in age is also as per govt. rules. d) You must have Indian Citizenship. IBPS conducts a common written examination for the recruitment of PO Posts for 19 public Sector Banks. The Qualifications that you require to appear in the IBPS PO CWE are : * You must have A Bachelor`s Degree from any recognized college/university. * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years. * Relaxation in age is allotted for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories. * You must have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. In fact, to appear for IBPS Bank PO, all you need is graduation degree. There is no percentage criteria set by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS). A total of 19 banks participate in the exam. All these banks are Public Sector Banks. After clearing the exam you can apply for job in any bank depending on the vacancy in the bank. The exam takes place only once a year. The next IBPS PO would take place next year in June. You will have to wait for the notification which is generally issued couple of months ahead of the exam. Once the notification is issued, you should apply for the exam through www.ibps.in. Eligibility 1. Only Indian nationals can apply. 2. A graduation degree in any stream. 3. You should have understanding to operate computers. 4. Age limit is 20 to 30 years. 5. The relaxation for OBC is 3 years. 6. Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years. IBPS Participating banks:- Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university. Final year graduation appearing students can also be eligible. The candidate must be indian origin. Age criteria:- The age limits are 21 years to 30years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
