Re: How to prepare for IIT JAM? Books to be preferred? dear friend, At first I want to tell you that please maintain the following guidelines provided here . These are given below : 1. Maintain a time table 2. Work hard 3. Don't leave any chapter 4. Study all these chapter very well 5. Take a valuable guideline from books and as well as coaching centers 6. Practice carefully 7. Attend test series of multiple type question. If you do all the above things very well then I am sure you will be succeed. Another thing I want to tell you is that there is no particular time limit in a day to crack IIT. It is totally depend up on you. How you can complete a chapter and how you can remember it and deliver it. So it is totally up on you my dear. I think anybody can not tell you exactly the time limit i.e. hours in a day for studying. But if you work hard and if you spend maximum time i.e. 16 to 20 hours then you will be succeed.
