Re: Names of various M.Tech entrance exams in India? Can i apply M.Tech without writing M.Tech entrace test. If it is possible and i will join M.Tech otherwise give me the date of exam in 2012 then i will apply for the entrance exam.... I was done my PG in computer science in North Maharastra University Jalgaon ,campus.. plz give me suggetion si....... |

Universities conduct their own entrance exams such as 1. TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) 2. Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) Karnataka by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) 3. Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University 4. GGSIPU Engineering CET Entrance exam 5. University of Petroleum and Energy studies, Dehradun UPES-SEAT Engineering Entrance Test 6. Birla Institute of Science & Technology - BITSAT Entrance exam 7. BEEE - Bharath University Engineering Entrance Exam 8. VITEEE Engineering Entrance Exam 9. Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) - M.Tech Entrance exam 10. This is the only Entrance exams in India, that provide you the best colleges like IIT's And NIT's. Because GATE score card will be accepted by every top colleges of India. And if you score good Marks and Rank in this exams, you will definately get a good colleges. So, please prepare for this entrance exams, if you really want to do M.tech course. Besides of GATE exams, Manny University will conduct his/her own entrance exams for M.tech, You can also apply for that University and colleges also. But, GATE is the best entrance exams, every colleges will acccept the GATE score card. |

Re: Names of various M.Tech entrance exams in India? I've been done BCA(with maths in 1st n 2nd sem.) & now perusing MCA from Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. I want to go for M Tech after this. Please tell me that i can go for which stream(specialized subject) in M Tech. And the list of colleges list where these courses are available. Specially in which IITs or NITs i can get admission. Is there any other entrance exam score acceptable in IITs and NITs. |

Re: Names of various M.Tech entrance exams in India? dear friend, To get admission in M.tech course you have to appear in GATE exam.. Which is conducted by IIT's and IISC jointly.. After qualifying in GATE exam you will get a chance to take admission in M.tech course.. All the best. |

Re: Names of various M.Tech entrance exams in India? All IIT's, NIT's and some other good universities take admission in M.tech through GATE examination. You have to qualify GATE with fabulous gate score and after that you can take admission in various IIT's and NIT's. But some other institute take their individual exam like Jadavpur university Shivpur university For admission in these institutes you have to qualify their individual exams. |

To get Admission in M.tech course, you need to appear for GATE Entrance examination, because GATE examination is only the examination which provide you admission in top M.tech colleges of India. And Most of the top University accept the GATE score card top get admission in M.tech course. The University Like IIT, NIT, Delhi University and all other Top university In India accepts the GATE score. So, its better if you can prepare for GATE examination to get admission in Top colleges. But Many Other Top colleges will also conducts his own entrance exams like VITMEE, PTU. But, i will suggest you to prepare for GATE Examination if you are really intrested to get top M.tech colleges. Because GATE examination is the best entrance examination to get admission in M.tech course. Other Entrance examination for M.tech - BITSAT BIT, Mesra, Ranchi GAT CET Entrance exam SRMEEE TANCET Petroleum University M.etch Entrance examination. |

Beside this only three states conduct exam for the admission of MTech, these states are Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu separately. There is only one acknowledged exam for doing m.tech is GATE EXAM which make you to enter into top universities like IIT's ,NIT,DELHI UNVERSITY,JNTU,OSMANIA UNIVERSITY and many more top other university .. gate marks are applicable for all colleges and it is valid for 2 years .. some private colleges conduct their own exams too but most of university consider gate exam..marks |

Re: Names of various M.Tech entrance exams in India? Hi Rudradeep, The most important entrance MTech is GATE exam which conducts once in a year. For 2011, It falls on February 13 '2011. With the GATE score, you will be eligible for persuing MTech in various colleges of India. Even IIT recruit through GATE score. There are exams conducted for particular state like TANCET in Tamil Nadu. Thank you. |

Re: Names of various M.Tech entrance exams in India? dear friend most of the colleges give admission for m.tech using GATE score which is on the behlf of GATE entrance exam gng to be held on 13th feb this year. other than this csio,chd also takes 10 students that take 10 students all over india for m.tech .(their course named PGRPE)....and pay a striphend of Rs.25000/month.........
