There are certain eligibility criteria to appear UPSC Preliminary exam:

>>The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
>>The candidates those are final year waiting for the result can also apply for this exam .
>>The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs .
There is a upper age relaxation .
>>The candidates should be a citizen of India.

Books For CSAT


The Civil Services Aptitude Test is conducted by the UPSC every year and is the fist stage of the Civil Services Exam

The CSAT will consist of 2 objective papers which shall test you on aptitude, general awareness as well as your graduation knowledge..

You can refer to the following books for your preparations :-












I have also attached some of the previous year question papers of CSAT for your reference..

Go through them and I hope they will help you out in your preparations..

You can visit http://upsc.gov.in for any more details about the exam..

The forms for CSAT-2013 will be out from 2nd February,2013 to 3rd MArch,2013

The CSAT will be conducted on 19th May,2013

The Mains shall be conducted on 8th November,2013..
