Graduate students can directly apply for IPCC without appearing for CPT. The registration forms are available at the chapters of ICAI. It is called ICAI bhavan. You can contact nearby ICAI bhavan and ask for registration form.

yes,any degree candidate can join in CA IPCC directly this course duration is divided into two groups

1.GROUP-I

in this group have 4 subjects

After successful completion of this course you can register CA-Final.

Re: Can any degree student join CA IPCC directly?

Hi friend......

Yes, you are eligible to direct register into IPCC without CPT

because CPT is exempted for Graduate students

As per the notification No.1-CA(7)/145/2012 dated 23rd February 2012 Every Commerce graduate who have scored 55 % marks and every other graduates who have scored 60 % marks are exempted from writing CPT examination. Also those who have passed Intermediate examinations of ICSI or ICWAI are also exempted from writing CPT .

The "Common Proficiency Test (CPT)" is renamed as "Common Proficiency Course (CPC)". Also the name " Integrated Professional COmpetence Course" is renamed as "Intermediate Course".

THe another change is theat the passing criteria of CPT is changed to 30% marks for each subject and 50% in aggregate.

all the best.......

Re: Can any degree student join CA IPCC directly?

Any graduates can avail the direct entry method to CA IPCC level. As per the new rule in CA, graduates need not appear for CPT. But candidates should score a specified percentage of marks in order to join IPCC. The mark specified for commerce graduates is 55% and other graduate is 60%. Candidates who get entry in to IPCC should qualify this exam first. On qualifying the same, article ship training and IT training are further training programs so as to join final CA course.
