Eligibility criteria for NDA exam ~~ Intermediate pass ( with Physics and Mathematics for Navy and Air Force ) from a recognised board. Age between 16.5 years to 19 years. Height and Weight Criteria for NDA:  Eyesight Requirements for NDA:  Also you must not suffer from any of the following ailments: -Flat foot -Knock Knee -Varicose Veins -Color Blindness You ears must be clean when you are attending the medical examination. If you fulfill above criteria then you will not have any problem in medical examination for NDA. The selection is based on the written exam, SSB and medical examination. Dear Friend Before discussing the physical requirements for the National defense academy entrance exam ,I would like to discuss the academic qualification and age limit for the exam in nutshell. Academic requirements: >>You must be 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board.English must be one of the compulsory subjects of your 10+2. Age limitations: Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years.No relaxations for anyone of any category in age as per UPSC rules. You must be unmarried male Indian citizen. Now coming to the physical requirements: From the given table you can know the height and weight for a candidate to be successful in medical exam of NDA: Visual standards for the exam: For any more details you can also visit www.upsc.gov.in.The important dates for the NDA 2013 exam are already over . Now you need to wait for the next year NDA exam.Till then keep preparing for the exam with full concentration and determination.Practice previous year papers. NDA offers following Defence wings... Indian Arny Indian Navy Indian Air Force NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) of India. Selection Procedure Written Examination Medical Test Personnel Interview Eligibility criteria for NDA: Indian Army- Must passed 12th standard in any stream from central or state board of education. Indian Navy- Must passs 12th standard with Science(PCM) stream. Indian Air Force- Must passs 12th standard with Science(PCM) stream. Age limit- Must be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Nationality- Indian. Sex- Male(Unmarried). Physical Qualification Required for NDA: Height/Weight for NDA Chest: Minimum requirement is 81 cm and they should be able to expand the chest for 5cm. Visual Standard for NDA: Other physical criteria you have to go through following fitness test: Running :- 2.5 to 3 km with in 15 minus. Physical Requirement : If you want to join NDA field then you have to satisfied Physical fitness conditions are following as : 1) You should be free from stress and mentally fit. 2) Your minimum acceptable height should be 157.5 cms for applying NDA candidates. 3) Your eye sight should be in the proper ratio of 6/6 and Myopia should not be more then 2.5 D. 4) Your chest will be fully developed after full inspirations up to the length of 5 cms. At present you have to concentrate on your studies and work hard for National Defence Academy examination.You can follow for NCERT book for preparation of NDA examination. NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year. The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam. There is no percentage criteria for the candidate.But you must have minimum marks in 12th standard .Final year candidate are also applicable for NDA exam . The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.
