BSNL stands for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.JTO stands for Junior Telecom Officers.This exam is conducted to recruit the students for the post of Junior Telecom Officers. To apply for this post you need to be a Graduate.You need to do Graduation in any of these fields:-Telecommunication,Electronics,Computers,Electrical ,Information Technology. You can also apply if you are in the final year of Graduation.Your age need to be between 21-30 years.You need to be the citizen of Indian. Qualifications: Subject For BSNL JTO Telecom: Applier must have Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equal Engineering degree in any of the following fields from an accredited engineering college/university: • Telecommunication, • Electronics, • Radio, • Computer, • Electrical, • Information Technology, • Examinees appearing in the final year degree exam may also apply. The mode of selection is by an All India Competitive Examination. The exam will be of 3 hours duration with one Question Paper containing the following 3 sections:- For JTO (Telecom): Section-I: Engineering stream: 50 questions Section-II: Engineering stream: 50 questions Section-III: General Ability Test: 20 questions For JTO (Electrical); Section-I: Electrical Engineering stream: 50 questions Section-II: Electrical Engineering stream: 50 questions Section-III: General Awareness: 20 questions For JTO (Civil): Section-I: Civil Engineering stream: 50 questions Section-II: Civil Engineering stream: 50 questions Section-III: General Ability Test: 20 questions |

But you keep checking the official website : http://www.bsnl.co.in Notification mostly come in the month of March and exam will be held in April or May. Eligibility for Examination: - Qualifications: Subject For BSNL JTO Telecom: You must have Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equal Engineering degree in any of the following fields from an accredited engineering college/university: Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology, - Age Limit : Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years. OBC/SC/ST Candidates have age relaxation as per govt rules. |

JTO means : junior telecom officer , Recruitment Junior Telecom Officers (Telecom), Junior Telecom Officers (Civil) and Junior Telecom Officers (Electrical) when started BSNL Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) was established in the year 2000 by the GoI. The company provides a wide range of telecom services in India. It has telecom training institutes which have been accredited with ISO 9000 quality certification. The company has also received National Energy Conservation Award in 2008-09 for the 2nd time in a row from Bureau of Energy Efficiency. BSNL has been one of the first service providers in India to launch 3G services across 284 cities as on November 30th, 2009. The company currently serves more than 55% of the broadband services market in India. What is BSNL Exam BSNL exam is conducted by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. for rendering efficient employees for the organisation. The standard of paper in engineering subjects will be that of Engineering Examination of an Indian University. Engineering Stream Section-I and Section-II would include 50 questions each and General Ability test Section-III would include 20 questions.. However, there would be no separate time fixed for attempting the separate sections. Each test will be of 3 hours duration with 120 marks. Negative marking is 33%. Generally cut-off for general category students is around 50-60 marks out of 150, which will be less for O.B.C/S.C/S.T category students. There will be no interview for final selection, criterion will be only written examination. |
