Apart from these a PO get extra allounce like- Medical Aid for self 100% and for family 75%, Home Travel Concession, Leave Fare Concession ,Concessional Interest Rates for Housing/Car. |

SBI stands for State Bank of India. SBI PO Eligibility: Candidate should be origin of India. Candidate should complete the Graduation from recognized University with any stream. Candidate should not required the percentage for this exam. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible. Candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories. 33 years upper age limit for the OBC candidates. 35 years upper age limit for the SC\ST candidates. Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows: Selection process:- Written exam, Personal interview. Syllabus for written exam:- General english, Reasoning, Numerical ability, Marketing aptitude, General awareness/Computer knowledge. PO means probationary officer which means officer under training. A PO remains under training for two years then he becomes Asst Manager. He is actually an officer in the main stream of bank. Re: What will be the starting salary for a Probationary Officer in SBI Starting Basic Pay in SBI for an officer is 16900/- Latest DA is 76%. HRA & CCA combined will be around 9% of basic pay. In addition to that, those with 2 wheelers will get amount equal to 45 ltrs of petrol each month and for officers with 4 wheelers to their name will get 50 ltrs each month. In addition to that, entertainment and newspaper allowances are also there. So the gross salary will be in the range of 35-36 k per month... |

You will get dearness allowance which is presently 72 % of basic salary. -You will get house rent allowance if you don't opt for leased house. -The salary will be high if you are posted in a big city like delhi or mumbai when compared to small cities. -You will also get petrol allowance ,entertainment allowance etc. -All in all you will get a handsome salary if you become SBI PO. -SBI gives more salary when compared to other banks.
