The Minimum age for admission to AFMC, Pune is 17 years as on 31th December 2010. but your daughter is not of 17 year then she is not eligible for AFMC 2011 exam.

She is eligible for next year AFMC examination.

candidate must have attained the age of17 years on the application forms date.
and you can also get the min 60% marks to eligible enternce exam.

The eligibility for AFMC:
A minimum of 50% in the Intermediate
subjects in Intermediate should be Biology,Physics and Chemistry
Should have completed 17 years of age on the date of applying for the exam

hy,
for AFMC minimum age requirement is 17 yrs.You need to pass 10+2 examination with PCB (60% marks needed) and english language 50% marks needed.

If your minimum age is 17 years old then you are eligible for AFMC exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AFMC EXAM
Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIFMC exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.

For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

AGE CRITERIA

Your minimum age should be 17 years.

SYLLABUS FOR AFMC EXAM

Preliminary Examination:

The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics,
Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.
Final Examination:

(Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination).
The Final Examination would consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions(four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.
The duration of paper would be 3 hours.

This year AFMC exam date is not announced yet.

Dear pal,
The exam is for the admission into the medical course.age eligibility differs based on the course you have completed
The minimum age is 17 years .The maximum age upto which a +2 qualified aspirant can apply is 22 years
Aspirant with B.Sc. qualification is eligible up to age of 24

for appear in this exam you must have to complete your 12th with physics, chemistry, biology & english subject..
you must have to pass 12th with minimum 60%.'

AGE LIMIT :
Must have attained the age of 17 years but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the above mentioned date .
as you are less than the minimum age required you can not apply for the course wait till the completion of age if you have more passion towards it . In the mean time you can do yearly course too.

Hi,


afmc (armed force medical college) conducts an entrance exam for students who aspire to get admission to armed forces medical college pune. The exam is conducted on national level.



Examination pattern:-

-duration of afmc test: - 120 minutes.
-it will be having 200 multiple choice questions.
-there will be 50 questions from biology, 50 questions from chemistry, 50 questions from physics, 25 questions on intelligence, logic and reasoning, 25 questions on english language and comprehension.
-for every wrong answer there will be negative marking.
- the question in the entrance test will be based on the syllabus which is generally followed by higher secondary boards.




Eligibility criteria:-


-the basic requirement is qualification in 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology and english. The minimum mark required is 60% marks or above in pcb. They should not have scored less than 50% marks in english and in other science subjects.

-those who have passed any other examination which is equivalent to plus two with pcb and english as their subject candidates should also have passed mathematics in 10th standard.
Those who are appearing in the current year of 10+2 examination before may 2nd are also eligible to apply.


Age limit:-


-the lower age limit is 17 years on or before commencement of exam in that year.

-the upper age limit is 25 years. There is an exception of 5 years for those belonging to sc, st or obc.

Candidates who are currently doing b.sc final year should be 24 years on the year of application.

Nationality:-


-the candidate should be an indian citizen.

-those who have migrated from nepal, bhutan, pakistan and any other country with an intention to reside permanently in india can apply. Students should not be married. They are also not allowed to marry in between the course.
-candidates should be physically fit.

AGE LIMIT :
1.Must have attained the age of 17 years .
2.But must NOT have attained the age of 22 years .
3.A B.Sc. candidate must not have attained the age of 24 years
4.Only unmarried candidates are eligible.

So you daughter must have attained 17 years to apply so wait for a year.In the mean time do some other course

It is compulsory for the candidate to attain the age of 17 before 31-12-2010. If your

daughter has not attain this age then she will be disqualified.

There is a date clash between AFMC and AIEEE exam in 2011. Both are scheduled for 1/5/2011 and the students have to drop one even they wish/qualify to appear in both the exams.AIEEE dates have already been shifted once from 24/4/11 to 1/5/11. Is there any way to convince AFMC authorities to shift there dates.
