The candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date. Physical Requirements. |

This is my life time goal, please let me know may i eligible for this department, i am B,Sc degree holder, Bharathidasan university in Tamil nadu, mother language is Tamil and date of birth 08-08-1968, now I have PIO CARD,now i am Air-condition & refrigeration Engineer and doing own business in Malaysia, I am very fast to found the solution and detective the investigation, always i discuses with my wife regarding some issue in nationwide and worldwide, The result and solution is exactly the same after few days, how i can do it and guess like this, that is why, i want to do achieve something in CID OR CBI DEPARTMENT. CBI(CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION) To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC (Staff selection commission)board every year. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Graduation in any discipline AGE LIMIT : 20 - 27 years Upper age relaxation will applicable SC/ST candidates for 5 years and OBC candidates for 3 . The Combined graduate level exam is conducted at the All India level every year by the Staff selection commission. Re: Required Eligibility criteria to become a CBI Officer? CBI i.e Central Bureau of Investigation every year conducted by UPSC i.e Union Public Service Commission. It is basically called CGL exam i.e Combined Graduate level examination. It held once a year for the post of Sub inspector for the police in CBI. Mainly eligibility criteria includes 50% marks in graduation, age must be below 25 years of age. For notification you need to track Employment news or job alerts over the net. Now talking about pattern of the examination. It will be conducted in three Tiers. Written exam is basically OMC i.e objective multiple choice type and followed by Interview or skill test. If you are opting for CPO's then you have to undergo for PET i.e Physical Endurance Test. The duration of Tier 1 is 2 hours. Areas included general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, numerical ability and English Comprehension.
