Re: Am I eligible for placement in CTS and TCS? I'm 4th year B.Tech(CSE) student and got 59.6% marks in 10th dear friend, TCS and CTS both are giant IT sectors in India.. They recruit large number of technical students every year as they have massive projects.. Eligibility criteria to appear in the campus drive of CTS and TCS: 1.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate throughout the career, even in 10th class.. 2.Candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.Candidate must not have any study gap more than three years.. Selection process for TCS ,CTS company- 1)Written Test 2)Technical Test 3)Personal Interview Your 10th marks is below 60% so you are not applicable for TCS and CTS both. |

So every company have their own eligibility criteria. Only Final year or Pass-out B-TECH ,M-TECH ,MCA degree holder are applicable for TCS , CTS . If you have through out 60% in career then you are applicable for TCS and CTS company. Pending Backlog candidate are not eligible for TCS. So, before appearing in the campus drive of such a big company you have to fulfill some eligibility criteria.. Eligibility criteria to appear in the campus drive of CTS and TCS:------------>> 1.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate throughout the career, even in 10th class.. 2.Candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.Candidate must not have any study gap more than three years.. These are the eligibility you have to fulfill. as you have less than 60% marks in 10th class then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for the campus drive of these IT sectors.. Eligibility For TCS & CTS Campus Placement Candidates are generally required to have an aggregate of atleast 60% throughout in their 10th,12th and B.Tech but since this is your 10th percentage which is marginally short..i think they will allow you to sit for the campus.. Just talk it out once with the company HR or the faculty responsible for the placement cell in your college.. Attached with you can find some of the previous year question papers of both TCS as well as CTS.. I have also attached the experience shared by various candidates..
