Re: What is the pay scale for CDS or NDA Army officers If you pass the NDA and CDS exam you will join in the Rank of Lieutenant. -Your starting pay will be of 15,600 - 39,100 pm. -You will also get a grade pay of 5,600 pm -There will be military service pay of 6,000 pm -They get a small amount for Kit maintenance too, i.e. 400 pm -Transport allowance will be given which will be equal to 1600 pm - 3200 pm -While doing Field duty, they receive Field area allowance which is 25% of basic pay; i.e. 6700 pm -Officers working on high altitudes gets an allowance of 5600 pm -Those posted in Siachen, receive an allowance of 14,000 pm -After every 3 years officers get outfit renewed allowances of 14,000 Entitled Rations -You will get an annual leave of 2 months and casual leave of 20 days. -You will get 50% concession on Air Travel -You will get the passes for free train travel once a year. Re: What is the pay scale for CDS or NDA Army officers Hello Friend ,  NDA Stipend, Officer Pay Scale Pay Structure and other Allowances for Army Officers and equivalent ranks in Air Force and Navy Stipend for Cadet Training Gentlemen cadets receive a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. (Rs. 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-) during the entire duration of training. The period of training is not treated as commissioned service. Pay scale in commissioned service Qualification Pay and Grant Qualification Grant: Officers possessing certain prescribed qualification are entitled to lump sum Qualification Grant of Rs. 6000/-, 9000/-, 15000/- or 20,000/- based on the qualification held by them. Qualification Pay: The Army Aviators (Pilots) serving in Army Aviation Corps. are entitled to the Qualification Pay, based on the Qualification held by them: Master Aviation Instructor - Rs. 500/- p.m. Senior Aviation Instructor Class I - Rs. 400/- p.m. Senior Aviation Instructor Class II - Rs. 280/- p.m. Aviators holding Master Green Card - Rs. 200/- p.m. Aviators holding Green Card – Rs. 280/- p.m. Allowance: The Army Aviators (Pilots) serving in the Army Aviation Corps. are entitled to flying allowance: Brigadier & above - Rs. 10,500/- Major to Colonel - Rs. 14,000/- Captain - Rs.11,000/- Lieutenant - Rs. 9,000/- BEST WISHES ...

Only a little variations are there depending upon the branch grade and location of posting. In general the starting salary is almost 50,000. But it may increase or decrease depending upon various other things. The starting pay package is like this:- PAY BAND:- Rs.15,600-39100 per month. GRADE PAY:- Rs.5400/- MILITARY SERVICE PAY:- Rs. 6000/- KIT MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE:- Rs400/-pm TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE:- Rs.1600-3200/-pm. FIELD AREA ALLOWANCE:- 25% OF THE BASIC PAY. HIGH ALTITUDE ALLOWANCE:-Rs. 5600/-pm. SIACHEN:-14,000/- pm. FLYING ALLOWANCE(FOR PILOTS):- Rs. 9000/-pm. QUALIFICATION(AS RECOGNIZED BY THE HIGHEST QUALIFICATION):-Rs. 6000/-pm TO 20,000pm. |
