A candidate is eligible for appearing in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering only if he/she fulfills the following minimum eligibility criterion :-

1) A candidate must have completed his B.E/B.Tech from a recognized University or should be in the final year..

2) Candidates who have completed their dual degrees or M.Sc. can also appear in the exam

There is no age restriction for appearing in the GATE exam

I have provided you with some of the previous year question papers of GATE from Mechanical Engineering stream..

You can go through them and i hope they will help you out in your preparations..

I have also attached the GATE brochure for further clarification of your doubts..
