Re: Should I do BBA or BCom before MBA? If you are aiming to do MBA definitely bba will be a better option as compared to general bcom as bba consist more sylabus of MBA and it'll benefit for your MBA. |

It depends upon you and your choice,interest and also on your subjects in 12th so choose according to them.You can do MBA even after BBA and also after B.Com.Because both the courses are good and have great scope. BBA stands for Bachelor in business administration and B.Com stands for Bachelor of commerce.If you have done your 12th with commerce without mathematics then you have to go for B.Com. If you had done your 12th with commerce with mathematics then you have to go for BBA.But as MBA is all about the business so you have to make the base perfect in business so that you can further continue your study in business i.e.MBA. MBA stands for masters in business administration and it is the post graduation courses after BBA and any other graduation course.So my friend,choose any one according to your choice but you can do MBA after both of the courses. As a Science student, you may go for B.Sc. or even B.Tech/B.E. but if you don't want these as your career option and you are only determined to choose one of the three courses you mentioned i.e. BBA, BCA, B.Com Then , you first have to think where your interest lies in. If you are technology oriented and want some technical knowledge, then only go for BCA as you will be taught from very basic to advance level about computers, and then you can get a job related to either software analyst, software engineer, or Assistant Manager after doing MBA after BCA. But if you are a money oriented person and also want to learn the way all business works then you should go for B.Com . And yes, it's sure that you have to do MBA afterwards, so don't go for BBA at all, as it will be no use to you...!! All the best..!! Regards Sammy |

To admission in the MBA course you need the graduation degree in any discipline from a recognize University. So, you can do graduation in any discipline. There are many entrance examination is conducted for the admission in the MBA course like CAT, MAT, XAT ...... and many other entrance examination. You can also appear in the entrance examination in the final year of the graduation course. So, i advise you to first complete the graduation degree in any discipline as per own interest. |

BBA is the preferred course for MBA. You can easily learn the basics of MBA in BBA itself. Use the following entrance exam in order to study MBA so that you can get the best B-Schools. I think you should go for B.com because that will help you when you will do your MBA...B.com gives you the basic/fundamental knowledge in accounting and mathematics (Statistics,probability etc)..The BCA is a computer application program which will give you the knowledge on computer languages which are helpful but when you are doing the master in computer application. Re: Should I do BBA or BCom before MBA? hi.. actually it depends on the field you are are interested in joining after the completion of your mba degree, different fields demand different areas of expertise for example if you are an mechanical engineer then the subjects like supply chain management,operation management etc will be really good for your career, for an graduate in civil engineering i think mba is not that important instead an mtech in construction management will be an more useful course if you are interested in working at the site for people from the software background an mba degree in the fields of hr ,logistics etc will be more useful for people from commerce back ground finance is the best and most thoughtful option |

Re: Should I do BBA or BCom before MBA? Dear pal, you can do MBA by choosing either of the branch.As for pursuing MBA you need to have bachelor degree from a stream. Being a science student it will be wise to do c=some course with science background and then MBA If you have interest in commerce and also the combination of two course works better .B.Com being a bachelor degree in commerce with the MBA degree you will be able to have knowledge in both the field which will help you a lot than doing it after BBA. It is not that BBA is not worthy but the combinations suits better.You can also do after BBA . Decide your interest into which field you want to go and then choose it. |

So, you can go for any of them between B.com and BBA course. But , I will suggest you to go for BBA course.. It will give you a basic idea of management , which in turn help you to pursue MBA course. Re: Should I do BBA or BCom before MBA? Both B.com and BBA programs are good. Though Bcom has its own limitations, while with BBA your prospects will be quite high. As with BBA, you get an idea about management fundas, which will help you to enter in MBA easily. One of my friend is also doing BBA in Logistics Mgmt, from UPES,Dehradun. He told me that UPES is offering very unique and interesting programs, which are in huge demand in the market. Some of them are like BBA in Oil and gas marketing, Aviation management, Logistics Mgmt, Auto retailing etc. If these programs interests you, look for UPES. It is famous for its programs, faculty and infrastructure in whole of pan Asia region. Best of luck for your future!! |

If you go for BBA then it will enrich your Administrative background. But if you go for B.Com then your numeric skill will be increased and in your future life you can do your specialization in Accounts in MBA. Best of Luck!! |

I believe BCA+MBA will be a better option because with BCA, you will get good knowledge of computers and programming which is very much necessary in today's IT world. Next, MBA will propel you to a very high paying or senior post in the long run. So, your knowledge of computers would be an added advantage. And also, since you are from not from commerce, b.com will not be easy for you. Look for a good college offering BCA.. All the best!! |

Because MBA is the perfect option for a BBA student. Besides this you can take any course as your under graduation course, because anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field is eligible for MBA.
